Hey friends!! Welcome back to another set of tips and tricks with your favorite Organizers, Essence and Kemart Grey.
Let's be honest, if you have a small place you should probably learn to develop a minimalist mindset. Not in the sense, where you throw the baby out with the bath water, maybe just some of the bath toys.
Whether by choice or not, living in a small place can be challenging, especially if you are forced to downsize.
Let's talk about some things to help you adjust to the tight space in your place.
Starting with the kitchen. Based on your household it is a good idea to keep only what you need in the kitchen.
Take a look at this photo below. Even this might be more than you need, because one may only need one frying pan or two at best.
How about this photo below?
For a family of four, this is the perfect amount of tableware. At the very top-right, is a half set of tableware for guests. Yes, I know there are only three saucers, one was lost on the way to the cabinet.
Let's look at the bakeware. A chips and dip server, a set of mixing bowls with lids (stacked into each other) a single bread pan, and the rest is clear that you could do a lot of baking of your choice.

No matter how small, every kitchen should have a tea and coffee draw or setup.
Ok, so let's talk about the countertops. The smaller the kitchen the fewer appliances should be on the countertop. It would be ideal to have the appliances under the cabinets or on a dedicated shelf in the garage like the photos below.
No matter the size of the kitchen, as long as it's organized and not crowded it can serve you well.
With warmth and encouragement,
Essence of Organizing.
